Patrick Birmingham, M.D.- Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon- Milwaukee specialist in arthroscopic surgical treatment of sports hip, shoulder, knee, and elbow injuries, and Assistant Professor at the Medical College of Wisconsin. After completion of residency at George Washington University, Dr. Birmingham completed a fellowship in Sports Medicine and Shoulder Surgery at the Hospital for Special Surgery which ranks first in the nation in orthopedics by U.S. News & World Report. During fellowship, Dr. Birmingham served as Assistant Team Physician for the New York Giants, and concentrated his training on Sports Hip Injuries and Arthroscopy with Dr. Bryan Kelly, complex knee ligament reconstruction, and the treatment of shoulder dislocations and rotator cuff injuries. He also researched the biology of tendon to bone healing as it relates to rehabilitation of sports injuries after surgery. Dr. Birmingham serves as an instructor for the Arthroscopy Association of North America's Hip Arthroscopy Course.
